China's magnesium metal exports will drop sharply in 2023

In December 2023, both the quantity and value of Chinas exports of metallic magnesium products decreased. According to Chinese customs statistics, the export volume for the month was 35,600 tons, a decrease of 5.6% month-on-month and 10.1% year-on-year; the export value was $113 million, a decrease of 8.1% month-on-month and 28% year-on-year.
